DESCRIPTION:

'97' leggy VR-4 Auto Type S

As title says, I'm selling my leggy (again!) Its pretty much standard, apart from the Tein Adjustables, cat back S/S exhaust and MBC.

Body is in good condition, no scratches or dints, theres a bit of surface rust on the hear side suspension tower, but nothing serious. inside is stock apart from a pop up DVD/Sat nav and boost gauge. Even has the original set of floor mats and Flare! lol
Engine ticks over nice and quite, and the usual tappet noise is hardly audible.
Recently had ALL the oils changed using Amsoil, G/box done twice in a week, thanks to a incompatent mechanic.
Recent air con compressor and power sterring pump fitted (used) and crank pulley changed for a new one.
She's got a cat replacement pipe fitted (have the cat) and have changed the chrome rims back to standard, but you can have them aswell.
She also has the 2 cargo nets and full(?) tool kit.

Now, reason for selling.

Have spent a fortune getting things fixed, and not had chance to drive it properly, and now the MAF sensor has packed in!!! Been offered one for £60 from a club member, but in all fairness have lost interest in her.

So here's some pics

:tiny: Reduced the price to £1700. She's got to go, would rather sell her to someone to fix or strip, but if no one wants her, I'll use her as a trade in for the VXR8.

so you say cant afford to spend any more on the VR4 in one post but then your going to buy a VXR8 - make sence.

Whats really wrong with it, why are you selling it.

No I cant spend anymore on her!!!!
I've had her about 3 months and done a grand total of 100 miles in her. 2 oil changes with amsoil, a/c compressor, p/s pump, 2 sets of belts, mechanics, etc etc, this car has cost me a fortune and I cant afford/want to spend anymore on her.

The MAF is playing up, and thats all.

And wether I can afford to buy/run a vxr8. Well dont you worry your little head about it, thats my problem not yours.

Now does that answer you questions???

I'm sure it does answer his question. But will it help to sell your car ?

who knows? If someone wants to buy it to fix, then they're welcome to bring someone down to check it over and take it for a drive,it runs perfect when its cold. If someone wants to strip it, they probably know all there is to know about VR4's and will know after a drive, that all it is is the MAF.

And wether it sells or not doesnt matter, I've not bothered with piston heads, e-bay etc. Just thought a club member might be interested.

Right, new car gets delivered on Friday so need to get rid of the leggy to make room.
And before anyone asks, the dealer couldnt find the right model, so would only do a trade in price of a standard 2.5 V6 Galant estate.

So now open to sensable offers.
