220,000kms isn't really *that* high though, it's certainly up there but not stupidly high for the age of the vehicle.

holy crap, I just put the plates into carjam and its last WOF was in Sept '07 when it had only done 121,000kms. The rego is on hold too!

Saw this one too and was thinking if this would be a good buy if the WOF and Rego is up to date. :)

100,000kms since it's last WOF I'ld say some suspension bushes, ball joints, cv boots etc may need replacing, especially if the previous owners haven't been so diligent with servicing, if they've serviced it at all??

I'm a car dealer, and I've sold cars without WOFs before. If it doesn't have a WOF, then they're perhaps in the wrong for not advertising that it is to be sold as is where is. They haven't advertised it as having a WOF or rego, and carjam (http://www.carjam.co.nz/car/?plate=DFN175) reports it doesn't have a current WOF and the rego is on exemption (on hold).

That does seem a bit dodgy, I would definitely make sure it is inspected by a third party WOF place.

I e-mailed the person selling it maybe we'll get an answer tomorrow if something's wrong or amiss with the car. If all's sweet-as then I'll probably buy it. Lol

I called up the dealer today and they told me it was sold yesterday with new WOF. Dang, I was too late. Lol :(

bugger! I see it just got withdrawn today.

Weird, carjam still reports the car not having a WOF yet. Same goes with rego. Sometime tells me they've just sold it as is to someone.
