Hey!
I have a legnum -96.

I am having difficulties finding pictures of the ecu. I don´t want to pull out my own and open it just to see what it looks like. Do any of you guys have any pictures?

Is the original ecu programmable?

Thanks
Deo

Picture of ECU (socket side) with pinout (credit to Kitty's VR-4 for original article).

Can't find a picture of the entire thing but there are some there if you can search for them (I've moved house and CBA). It's about the size of the VHS cassette or so and has those plugs on the back.

It's located above the beginning of the transmission tunnel. Undo passenger footwell right hand foot panel to access.

Probably best to post up your part number.

It can be checked in ASA and identified as being flashable / not-flashable.

If it's not flashable (and most of them aren't) then you have the following options:
1) wait until someone solves the earlier ECUs. (looking like it maybe a daughter board)
2) buy a Piggyback ECU (MAP2, EManage Blue, Emanage Ultimate + others)
3) buy a standalone ECU (Vipec, Autronic, Motec etc.....very expensive).

1) and 3) are the best options, but 3 is overkill for most people, and if 1) isn't available then 2) is the next best thing.
