yeah.... i think i may have a problem.
i didnt notice it untill garry pointed it out.

the fans come on and off at will, it will show on the climate controll that there are set to X-speed but noththing comes out of the vents...
then after a while WOOOSH! they burst into life only to swich off again.

thinking maybe this is a loos wire??? if so where to start looking?

Any chance you have it set to AUTO?

its only been a recent thing this stop start as it worked fine before. i cant say when it started doing this.
we have tryed setting it in manual or auto, on different speeds, hot and cold engine, and it comes on and off at will.
im sure garry can explane a bit better when he gets on a bit later.

It does sound like the recall on the JDM models? The heater wiring at the fan has an issue.

we are on about my v6 and not the vr4.
that bloody thing is still off the road awaiting garry to fit the new things to it....

I'd check the connections on the back of the climate control panel. Especialy if you have had the radio out around the time the issues started.

Dash panels haven't been out for ages (no issues with CarPC screen for a while! ;))

It's only been in last 2-3 weeks it's been an issue, dash was last out before JAE, (whenever we sprayed up the dash panels), which was early September time.

But, something I will check as a matter of course.

Hi,
After checking above mentioned plugs I'd give the motor a tap with something in case the brushes are worn out. Won't fix it for long but would point you in the right direction :)
Cheers,
Gavin :)
