Thinking about getting shot of the carbon bonnet on the car. It basically has some moisture in the weave which gives it a strange looking effect on the carbon.

HOWEVER. for someone who wants the lightness of the bonnet but wants to spray it, this would be 100% perfect. It is VERY light.

It already has the bonnet pins fitted (nice aerocatch ones) and is vented.

It fits very nicely and just needs 2 new washer jets.

If you're interested feel free to make me an offer. Bare in mind that this bonnet is £550.00 to buy plus postage generally so don't make silly offers. I'm not hard up for cash either so wont be selling this for a tenner.

PMs are cool or place offers below :)

The odd picture or two might help...

...help us to consider parting with something more than a tenner...

Looks good...

I wonder how it might look on a Pearlescent White FL Estate...

But then there is all that work, fitting it and sorting those washer jet thingies...

10 secs of work!

Would look cool on your white one Chris

Fitting a different bonnet:

...removal of bonnet, fit new one, do washer jet thingies...

10 seconds work...?

5 mins is NOT 10 seconds...

And I have the hands of an artisan not a mechanic...

Like this bonnet though...

And now my posts are the year I qualified as a Nurse

Remember as I said. It will more than likely need spraying.. due to this moisture in the weave.

I'll put some pics up of it when I find them

If bought such a bonnet, likely to have it black...

In fact, the quickest way is probably to offer to buy Orion a set of replacement washer jets to leave the ones in the bonnet fitted when sold.

Then it's 4 bolts, two hoses and the bonnet pins.
If you discount the bonnet pins, and have 3 people doing the job (I hereby volunteer) I reckon you could actually do a formula 1 style bonnet change in under 10 seconds. It'd be mighty close, mind, but it could be possible!

Well thank you for the volunteering...

And Murray Walker to commentate...?

...'the smell of the vr-4 helpers and the noise of their spanners'...?

Ha fantastic, the kind of thing you could do on the side of the M1 !

As a note if someone does make an offer I will provide washer jets too ;)
