To be honest, your easiest way of doing this may be to buy a whole damaged Galant VR-4 from a Japanese salvage company such as TAU Corporation - getting separate bits into the US could work out far more expensive in the long run. Don't forget also that US Galant interiors are completley different to UK and JDM Galants - i'm not sure how interchangeable they are.

The 96 gvr4 in America was the 7g. In Japan it was changing to the 8g. This site has loads of info on the 8g, but not too much on the 7. There may be somewhere better to ask about the 7.

Good luck, though, and feel free to ask lots of questions!

there is no such thing as a 96 gvr4 in america. they only brought them over in 91-92 and only 3000 got here. if there was a 96 gvr4 in america i wouldnt be asking this. how would i contact TAU? and is there a site out there that discusses the 7g vr4? that speaks english?
