I've decided to move away from purchasing lowering springs and going to save for coilovers. Has anybody got BC Coilovers on theirs , if so what do think of them. Any good ?

Kyle,

Did you already get a price? I must have missed it so, any links to said thread?

Price was dependant on how many were ordered,, search for bc coilover groupbuy or something like that

They were priced at £570 from a place in wales , but the last customer who bought them had not recieved them after 4 weeks , Ask Benh for a price as he can resell them ( price aint everything Service is )

The issue with those ones will be that the aftersales will end up crap , just as when the people on here got issues with the dyamma one the company in uk could not get the problem resolved by the twainese company . Where as with BC there a lot bigger and have a uk site as well .

Not always like that John..

Have had issues with Car parts as well as Electrical items from far off lands before .. and upto yet i have had good aftersales ..
And just cos a company is UK based it doesn't mean the aftersales is going to be good :speechles
I've dealt with plenty of shiite companys in the UK.. :speechles

Each to there own.. Some like to pay top buck price fr UK based items.. others like to get items cheaper from far off lands..
But like i say.. the choice is the buyers /yes

I totally agree that they are not always like that but I have given one clear case of where it has been .

Those coilover could turn out to be a great bargin if you don't mind waiting 60-80 days delivery and you don't get stung for inport duty . But you will have to treat it as a gamble if anything goes wrong with them as you have no protection under UK Law . Where as if you buy them from UK company you are protected by the SOGA

Personaly I would take the chance but that does not mean I would advise other too , but you are correct buyers choice after all

Couldn't find original message i received from seller. So asked the question again..

Here is the question submitted and the reply...

Hi

Q...I have a 1999 Galant VR4.
Will these fit my car ?
Also they look near identical to BC Racing Coilovers ? Are they manufactuered by the same compony. Also can you mark them as a gift when shipped to save on import duty and taxes into the UK..

Regards

Glenn

A... Hi, there, we have your kit. We cannot let you know which company produce this kit but it's a famous manufactuer to make it. If you need, I'll mark as a gift on the shipping invoice.
If you need, please press buy it now button then we can process your order immediately.
Thanks and have a good day.

I'm sure in the original message he said that they were the same as BC Coilovers..

"YOU DECIDE" :D

Anyway it's there as an option /yes

Cheers

I've been looking also a set from D2 which is from the same manufacturer as BC-racing... price would be tempting... and that D2-set would come with two years warranty.

Any update on this? I need some coilovers badly as the current bilsteins are far too low for me, but only got around 400 quid to spare after buying the car :(
