why is it when i try to log on to this site by pressing "forum" in the top right hand corner it just keeps flicking the page to the top of the screen and wont let me in.

and when i try to read my pms ,it again, just keeps flickin the page to the top of the screen

Nothing, those things just don't seem to work with Google Chrome. Hopefully when the forum software is upgraded shortly, and the templates etc are updated, they'll be fixed to also work on Google Chrome.

Something to do with the active HTML (or whatever) and it means that those menus don't work on my phone either!

Google Chrome is actually a web browser, Keith. Just like Internet Explorer and Firefox. If you try using Internet Explorer everything should work just fine.

so its not just me then, thank god for that.

although depending on what phone you have i do have a browser that the site does work ok on, its called skyfire, and it is very good for browsing the site on.

Qiute abit of the other stuff is still working bit its all the little bits that make the difference.

It's mainly the drop down menus that don't work but you can access most other things Tony.
