I had one of these on A41 behind me for a few miles at XXmph :D about 3 weeks ago ... I did not have a clue what it was. Same colour too. They look pretty good I think
Looks good but a 1.8L engine

Pezza, they haven't been released yet! Unless you were being followed by the new 2010 shape Outlander?

the new 2010 shape Outlander?
I would imagine it was this, maybe the 2.4mivec sport model!

I raise you this:

172kw and 296nm of torque. Also comes with an AYC style torque vectoring diff at the front and (thankfully!) a 6 speed auto and not a pile of crap CVT

1.8L Mivec for utterly boring performance, and no mention of drivetrain: so it may actually just be FWD. As they're chasing economy and environmental efficiency, 4WD would be utterly pointless.
It's a bit of a looker.....wonder how it would react to a 4G63T transplant? :)

I would imagine it will be available with the full range of 4B engines including the 4B12 and probably the 4N1 series http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi_4N1_engine
edit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi_Concept-cX
Look at what the original concept came with.

And slightly off tangent, I saw a media report this evening that Peugot Citroen are buying at least a 40-48% stake in Mitsubishi and probably higher on the pretext of joint development of the i-Mievc electric car. Don't know if that means the RVR will be displaying french model badges as well as the triple diamond

The C-crossdressor has arrived here recently. It is a woefully ugly car. I really won't be happy if they do buy mitsi!

Oh yes that was it... I do like the look of those... and it was fairly brisk as it kept up when I was booting it.
