All...

I am selling my legnum Vr4 estate to raise capital for my new VW Camper project ...

The car was imported from Japan last year in April. I was the first owner in the UK. The car is on a P plate.

Miles - 48000

had the dreaded 45000 cam belt service in January of this year by Ralli Art Mitsubishi in canturbury £810!!!!

This is the only service that has needed to be done as i purchased the car at 42000 miles.

I have full service details of when the car was in Japan and have all the import and SVA details.

Car spec:
Tip Tronic Auto
Climate
Electric everything
Cloth interior
Xenon Blue brilliant white lamps
Interior is in fantastic condition.

Now the Sad bit....
I had the worlds stupidest accident in it a month ago. I reversed into a post (that I knew was there and was trying to avoid!) as my foot got stuck between the accelerator and brake and basically i shot back 12" and caused approx £1200 of damage! :( damn legnums accelerate!

I havent claimed on the insurance as this will shaft my no claims so i want to sell as seen and take off the £1200.
It needs - New boot, new bumper, and a new piece of metal that the boot clips onto. Estimated by a local garage at £1200. :(

So i will part company with the car for a steal at £8000

email me for pics etc...

i am based in Ashford Kent.

Can you just confirm:

£8,000 for a 'P' plate VR-4 with £1200 pounds worth of accident damage, one service since last April and 48,000 on the clock?

Ta!

Kieran, I will need to work out the exact miles but yes basically P-plate VR4 with £1200 damage 48k approx for £8k...

Not being rude but I reckon you have a difficult choice, either sort the damage out and then £8k is still an optimistic price, or leave it and you could be looking at offers substantially under this :( - if you get any at all.....would you spend £8k for a car with this damage ?

no offence taken. I am hesitant to get the damage repaired as ultimately i will pay over the odds for insurance in the coming years and i dont have the money to pay for the damage otherwise.

I have attached a pic of the car and will take a pic of the damage tomorrow.

Great cars as they are Nick, I think £8K is a bit optomistic. I've had mine just over a year, with similar mileage, & I only paid £7200 from a dealer. I've also seen 2000 models for less than £10K. good luck anyway. :-D

I think Pete and Derek have made the point I was trying to.
Looking on Autotrader last night, there's several P reg VR-4s, one with the same miles as yours for about the £6,00-6,500 mark. And that's from a dealer with no damage and a warranty, service history, etc. etc.

Again, I wasn't meaning to cause offence, but I honestly think that £8000 is too high.
