It has a few dinks, dents & scratches, a rather severe paint chip on the bonnet has seen a bodge job with primer to prevent any rust getting in by me. I've used it as my only transport for the last 3 years, it had covered 132,000 miles when I bought it and had been used as a company car previously, clocking most of it's mileage up on the motorway. It's never failed to start, and only last week impressed the chap who MOT'd it, he thought it was in very good condition given the mileage.

As you can see the boot is very big, even more so with the rear seats down, it's swallow two mountain bikes whole with the seats down plus kit, or three bikes in pieces and three blokes. I've used it for quite a few trips over to Wales for biking and more recently to carry a dog around in the back.

The Cambelt will need doing in 20,000 miles and the common failure idle pully has been replaced. It's far from perfect, but it's cheap reliable motoring and would ideally suit someone wanting a second car as a runabout, hack to carry crap to the tip or just someone needing some cheap wheels for a while.

The anti roll bar bushes are worn and knock when the suspension takes an abrupt hit. Rear bench seat also has a cigarette burn in it, slightly smaller than a 5p piece.

Well, in the case of the 306 and alot of other cars that's exactly what they did. I agree, they do look odd sometimes, but it was never supposed to me anything other than a workhorse.
