I'v been of since Friday & I'm fed up all ready. Cant even do the many jobs that need done to the car (well I could but I dont want to freeze).

Just took me 20 minutes to scrape the ice of the car to drop my oldest at his friends house & I had to drive the car with the mirrors folded in cause I could'nt get them to open there frozen solid.

I may have to start drinking the many boxes of stella I bought from Tesco yesterday:runkest:

I finished on Friday 18th and won't go back until Monday 4th Jan. Boozing and eating a shed load are usually what keep me occupied during my Christmas fortnight.

Time off over Christmas? I can barely remember what that's like.

My next day off is 02/01/10. To be fair, 25 Dec is rarely busy for us(I'm a recovery driver), but Boxing day usually is. I'm expecting the Bank Holiday Monday to be really hectic too, as it all makes for a very long-weekend

Last few days have been stupidly busy due to the weather; idiots driving when it's clearly a BAD idea.

We find that New Year's Day is pretty quiet, but I've not done one yet without at least one serious crash in the early hours. Usually caused by some cretin proving that they can't drink and drive. Although noone here would do that, would they?

Rant over!

Working - well on-site Christmas Eve and Christmas Day nights.

Ah well, so be it.
Just as well they make the canteen free, and will have a few movies on the memory stick to keep me going.
