Sorry to see your (formerly) great looking 6G VR4 this way... Hopefully you can get it back to it's former glory without spending anything else but insurance money on it!

According to Carjam it has been de-registered, with the reason stating that it has been written off by the insurer.

I hope the insurance co gives you a good payout! I bet all they're going to see is a 1990 Galant that's done 260,000kms and try squirm their way out of it.

With it being a write off, are you going to try buy it back off the insurance co and part it out? That evo 0 bonnet even bent would be worth something.

I think I would absolutely break down and cry if the same happened to my Evo 0!

Thanks for your support peoples, yeap it has been de-registered but have no fear club vr4 crew NAUSED will be back.

It has been bought back and taken to another place to be repaired if the lazy casey panelbeaters (Which no one should ever take their car to) don't want to repair NAUSED then i will take it to real panelbeaters that want a to do some work, because there was no way in hell that i was going to part from my baby and in saying that it is on the road to recovery and should be back with me soon.

I hope we will have a meet up soon so i can make a grand enterence.

does anyone have info on good insurance companys?? hell if im going with STATE anymore.

there is no such thing as a good insurance co but state would have to be the worse.... actually the whole IAG group is rubbish!

Good to hear you have bought the car back, and putting it back on the road! Would have been a real shame if it had gone to the wreckers.

Lol, imagine finding that in a wreckers!

Nac????

They're pretty much the only people who insure these kinds of cars aren't they? Still part of IAG though. They try to be knowledgeable, but when I rang for a quote, the girl said I would have to tell them about any modifications to the VR4 such as (and quote) "dropping a rotor in it" :/

^^ Lol, man a rotor power VR-4.... that would be something lol

As for insurance, try going with AMI, they have a performance car insurance under their new policies called CLIC, I think it was called.

its hard to find a good insurance company these days, or does that even exist?
