Hi guys!
I need your advice as I'm really close to buy some budget piggy-back system, but struggling to choose one (similar price). Forums threads didn't help neither...
Well, choice is:
1. Greddy E-manage Blue (do I need extra bits also, I mean E-01, or just tune with laptop is ok?)
2. HKS F-con IS (found one with Evo 9 harness)

From descriptions seems that both are quite similar in functionality, hence my question - which one is to tune easier, more reliable, etc...

My car has mods so far: fpr, hard-wired fuel pump, uprated FMIC, EBC, wideband LC-1, de-cat and 3" cat-back...

does the F-con include navigator?

What year is your car? If you have a flashable ecu don't waste time with either of those products.

E-manage is easier to deal with as it requires no extra hardware besides the support tool, but consider the Ultimate instead of the blue

No, my VR4's ecu is MH7201, not flashable.

What is "navigator' for F-con? Haven't got a clue...:embarasse

I'll consider EMU only if I go for TD04's, so far funds limited.

Get the E-manage. Fcon can only be fitted and configured by an "HKS Master writer". Good luck finding one who knows about VR4s.

Also, the Evo9 harness means it's probably only setup for 4 cylinders....not 6.

As long as you have the support tool, you can use a laptop and tune the Emanage. No E-01 required.

"Support tool" means software plus cables, am I right?

I think what John meant was look at the 7201 flashing thread

Yeah... all plans frozen.
Flashing MH7201 is the first priority now.
