Previous diagnosis was incorrect!! The gearbox and its contents are perfect.

Power steering fluid, leak on the system that will be sorted before sale.

Price is now £3000 and thats only because MOT and Tax run out in the next month.

Yes its an import. Its due its next 4500mile service. All known faults have been fixed. It would benefit from a set of front brake pads as i think the current ones may be nearing their end. All this of course is reflected in the price.

No probs all the way home until an oil light appeared as I pulled up at work. Job for me over the weekend I think.

Sometimes they do that with thin hot oil at idle. It is probably more a sign that the idle rpm is a bit low than anything else. Sometimes the oil pressure sensors are a bit funny too.

The journey back was a bit more interesting with 2 vr4s :) + not a problem. If you sort your abs out by japshow, I will clear the codes for you then
