Rear Control Arms

Got the car serviced yesterday. Mechanic said the rear control arms are in need of some attention. Passed the WOF but might not next time.
He is of the opinion that he can get some bushes to fit, rather than replacing the entire arm.
I have had a search but can not find any supporting evidence.
Is this correct?

depends which arm,

if its the tow control arm then no,

but the others yes as long as you can find the correct sized bush,

and theres no listing for leg/gal bushes as its not by factory removable part.
so its not like you will be able to look it up in a catalogue and just buy the right ones
