hmmm new steering rack or not

Heard a little bit of a noise metal on metal noise today so decided to jack car up have a look saw that inside of dics was far to warn down so need to get some nice new evo disc. When having a look around as i had just changed tracking rod boot noticed there was a little play in the wheel now it cant be wheel bearing as have only just changed it. Got the deal from america thanks guys for help with that but noticed that the tracking rod had the play in it only about 5mm if that but does this mean new steering rack coming up? help cant sleep lol

Rack ends/track rods are changeable and it is more likely to be that.

Trackrod itself is changable, ive sapped a set on a gdi galant and it was an easy job, youll need an alignment afterward
