I've been reading the article about changing the cambelt on my VR-4 , can someone tell me where i can get the special tools needed to do it ??????

Cam locking tool and Timing idler adjusting tool !!

YOu only need to lock the rear bank and can make that yourself with two bits of metal and a bolt .


The tensioner tool is on the camskill website in the evo section around £36

You dont need any special tools at all. Richie's article states the method for doing it without from memory.

Youve just got to put the rear bank 1 tooth out before tensioning, and as long as you have the new tensioner in the same position as the old, leaving the hydraulic one on 1 bolt you can lever it in place to tension.

Its actually easier without the cam locks, but you can do it with if you prefer.
