I know some one on here will know, and I'm sure at least 1 member on here is a Mazda mechanic, but I can't remember who /pan

I need to change the gearbox oil on my mates 6 Mps at the weekend, but there is a severe lack of info out there on what oil they use, we have 2 dealers saying 75/90 and 2 dealers saying 5w30 engine oil. this isn't uncommon but......

Can anyone help?

That's quite a difference in oil spec! And yes, hopefully Subaru ETA will be the man with an answer.

Not a problem dude, You answered what was beginning to look like an unanswerable question over here, they are are indeed a great car, although I'm most impressed with how good it looks in the rear view mirror of the Legnum /lol
Is the clutch really that bad? Don't tell me its one of those where its easier to drop the whole drive train to to a basic job?

you have to remove the subframe....enough said.

its not too bad to do on a hoist, just very time consuming but i would never do it on stands!
