Santa pod, sunday 18th July !!
Met Richard [ zentac ] & the rest of the FTO owners, as planned !!

convoyed to the pod.

joined in with the FTO stand.

bought my 76 cool blue, & put all of it in the car !

stripped out the interior [ ready to take on Daves 13.5 ]

signed on, paid my £15 & joined the queue. :-b

missed my launch, [ I was along side Richard, & had one eye on him ] & ran a PATHETIC 14.35 secs :$

Never mind, got all day to do it in !! then realised why my nitrous assisted 1st run was so poor ?? I forgot to turn the bottle on !! :lipsrseal :$ :$

Now the best bit !! ...................the rain came. :( then went......... so they dried the track !! about 10 cars got on, then the rain came again !!

So to cut a long story short, around 200 cars sat there in the queue for 6 hours !!! [ untill 4.30 ] when we finally gave up & came home !!
From setting off, to getting home, 12 hours, !! for one run ! I hope my £39's worth of cool blue enjoyed it's trip back up the M1.

anyway.............. here's the only 2 pics I took ! :$ Me & 3 FTO's [ 2nd one is Richards ] & mine, stripped & ready for some fun !!

Only until wednesday when my exhaust is done and can push it to over 1 bar. I checked my boost settings on the way home and it was only running 0.5 bar all day :-D Loads more to come....just need some traction to go with it now :dozey:

Gutted for you, Derek. :( With the weather like it was, I'm surprised you got any runs though - I was all set to come over, but I was convinced it would have been called off completely.

Did you try out the nitrous / cool blue combo on the M1, by any chance? :$ :lipsrseal
