Recall information has been updated

For "Full" Members, I have updated the Recall information to include pictures and numbers of vehicles affected as well as the Chassis Numbers.

If you link to http://www.mitsubishi-motors.co.nz/news/news_item_61.asp and click on the Recalls button, a popup appears allowing you to input your chassis number to see whether or not it needs to be recalled (mine does)

That is good for VR-4 owners. It would appear to allow for non-NZ cars as well.

Mine isn't listed but my Mits dealer says it needs doing!

My recall is with regards to the lower balljoints.

The recall link at http://www.mitsubishi-motors.co.nz/...ews_item_61.asp is only for the 1996/7 Galant or Legnum VR4s with automatic transmissions and fitted with the "automatic stability control" function.
I phoned my dealer and he knew nothing about it. I had to tell him the link and then he phoned Mitsubishi HQ to confirm it ! He reckons it will be some weeks before the parts arrive and that it is a major job. The good news is it will not cost me anything!

You need to select threads to display options from the beginning not just of the last month as is the default, ans click show threads.
