Get the car REALLY well serviced before you start looking at going faster, Karl.
Gearbox and transfer case fluids, rear diff fluids (all three) engine oil and filter change, might as well slap some new brakes on it too.

Generally, most people find that it's a good idea to stick a new set of leads on it, and some colder plugs (comes with 6's, will run higher boost better with 7's)

Then decide whether or not it needs a cambelt change (which includes water pump). Once you've done all that, you'll be skint! :) THEN you can look at an exhaust and boost controller, and perhaps a better quality panel filter, which will give you a significant performance increase.

After that, it's an intercooler, probably with hardpipes, and then you're into ECU territory, which you WILL have to search on as there is a lot going on in that space!
