just phoned mits for a price on a new nearside headlight fitting got quoted £190 inc vat, anyone got one for sale its a 2001 equippe, or does anyone know where i can get one from another sorce

also looking at old one on car does this come in seperate parts as looks like lens is just clipped on and this part is fine, its only the rear housing im after.

All headlamps since the beginning of time have been made by sealing a glass/plastic lens onto a plastic rear housing, the clips are used to make sure it never comes loose again ! I can't think of a car since 1990 that you can get the lens separate tho, they are probably only available as a whole unit.
