Fault Code 93 & 96

anyone know what these are and why?
i think theyr to do with side airbags,if so could it be resistance in the plug connectors?
if so i will cut and hard wire to remove an yresistance

Which light is giving you the codes?

a $5k scanner

Ok then. On what system is it giving you those codes? I assume it is the SRS system. Not all scanners can replicate the simple 'shorting pin 1 to earth and counting the flashing lights on the flashy dash' method to give and accurate reading of codes.

Anyway, if it is the SRS system:

93 left side side impact sensor channels
96 right side side impact sensor channels

What set-up do you have regarding side airbags?

i installed Side airbag seat loom to the car from the donor cars wiring loom,and it was weathered so i assume the resistanc eis form the terminals creating the problem then?

um im not up with the lingo of scanner thingys but its blue with a 7" screen on it
Geartech use it, as i know them very well they plug it into all my egnums i build up so i can see if theres anything up with them before selling them on

I think it is a common thing to have to join together the pins to keep the Air Bag ECU happy, I'm unsure of what pins though, the mainland European guys should be able to help, they have the most experience with side air bags.
