i think its the little tick and cross box at the bottom of the post right hand side

It's funny is rep...

You can get negative rep but not be told that it has happened.

By chance you find critical comments, IIRC in your profile section...

and it becomes clear that someone gave you negative rep

It can be quite a surprise...

I would'nt worry to much about it. Its taking me nearly a year & a half to get 3 greens & look at Chris g He's been here a lot longer than I have

I went away for some time, NOT at her majesty's pleasure...

but away from ownership and also to over to NZ for a year...

And not such a regular poster either until this last year or so...

And get negative rep, without being told, for annoying antipodean folk...
