hes waiting for a gearbox that you dont clutch the same as the btcc cars, and that has to be programmed into the mines brain ,the car was running 11secs on the 1/4 mile before its on utube before the rebuild
hes bringing people over from england to map it before he takes it down the drag strip

didnt make the magic 1200bhp today dave rowe from motec was over for a couple of days mapping a few cars so the R33 GTR made 910bhp and 680lbs of torque today with a faulty crank sensor that kept moving with that much torque will post up the graphs tomorrow and a few pics

Actually, quite the opposite - that's an impressive power output for such a (relatively) small turbine - it must be running reasonably high pressure. Is he using NOS as well? What turbo is that - I assume it's variable geometry!

Can't beat Motec :)

Just thinking back to the last 1200bhp skyline I looked at: was running a pair of TD06-25Gs IIRC?

turbo is a hks T51R/SPL i think it was only running on super also this is from the r33 gtr the r34 made 800bhp

907bhp is no bad figure. Lucky Fella!

Shame nobody has been rich enough to take a VR4 this far - Evo driveline bits and a serious engine.........

Still 2.6cc + HKS T51R SPL + OS88 Sequential + Inconel Exhaust + MoTeC M800 = 910bhp & 680lbs...
