How set the wiper motor up ??, mine came loose at the weekend(the bolt on the back of the motorand it was just spinning ) and try as i might i cant seem to get the arms right , :annoyed:

Undo the bit that goes to the arms (detach from motor)

get in the car and turn the wiper switch to the first position(intermittent wipe) listen for the relay to switch, wait 1 sec and turn ignition off imediatley

the motor will now be in the right position.


bolt up everything.

good to go

Cheers i tried that (quite a few times!) it seem,s to be either to far i.e hits the windscreen pillar or decides it wants to go over the bonnet first !! i think its the swivel part on the back of the motor that links the arms that needs to be in a certian position ,
