Am looking at a car in Dunedin and was wondering if someone from there would like to pop over and check it out for me? its a wrecked vr4 basically i just want to know that it runs and the gearbox and clutch is good.
Any help would be much appreciated.

It doesn't look like it runs, I think I can tell that much from the pictures :P

Might be keen for a few bits and bobs if you do end up buying it though.

Yea he said he has had it running. im just after the engine and manual parts so any other parts would be up for grabs

I don't see a radiator, IC, or MAF. So yeah, it's not going to run in that condition.

That's a good price though.

umm it slips going from 3rd to 4th im not evan sure what its worth to be honest

If it slips from one gear to another then I'd say it is worth $100 to $200 depending on the km's. I have a perfect condition 2001 auto box here that I would get rid of for $600 or so for example and noone seems keen at that price. To fix whatever the problem is that you have could be an entire box rebuild ($2000-2500!)
