I have a PFL VR-4 S. There is a switch to the left of the TCL switch that looks as if it controls the heated rear screen but that switch is up with the climate control stuff (isn't it?). Any clues? Is it a front screen heater of some sort?

I've spent an hour searching the forum but had no luck.

Heated windscreen. Only available in cold spec cars from memory. And if your windscreen has been replaced at any point, its likely not got the heating elements anymore.

What Scott said.

But to clarify matters, this means that you have heating elements under the wipers, not the whole screen!

That would make some sense. This morning I pressed it whilst waiting for the blower to clear enough of the screen to drive away and the area around the wipers cleared very quickly. I had assumed that the blower had cleared it but it would appear not!! Thanks chaps.

It's for unsticking the wipers from the screen. I had a Japanese person translate my manual and it says that it automatically turns off 15 minutes after you turn it on if anybody wants to know...

Thanks for that.

you should have a full under tray under the engine and a beefier 120A alternator as well.

You may also have heated door mirrors.
