Cheers Mark, i will get a few of them as a back up.

i am going to be placing an order with emergy suspension anyway and i wanted a stronger/more durable replacement as everytime a crack a ball joint apart i seem to split the dust cover.

I think I have all the arms you are asking about, but no way of accurately measuring them.

Feel free to bring a vernier down and check them all!

Sorry nick i was not ignoring your kind offer, it is just a bit far for a measure and compare.
but it would give me the opportunity to have look at the suspension arms.
BOOM BOOM!!!

anyone else got some arms and a vernier calliper to measure them.

i just checked at my mitsi dealer in warrington and the MB808555 dust cover number he is charging £11.16 + Vat each, and you need 4 of these to replace the front ones on the both lower arms.

anyone got the dimensions. as i think i will buy polly ones from the states at that price.

I think I have these dust covers (unused from my hub replacement). I'll try to get some measurements tonight.

Ok, hope this makes sense:

with the dust boot sat on a surface, it is 27mm high
inner diameter of the large open side is 39mm
inner diameter of the small open side is 12mm
outer diameter of the widest part is 49mm

I have four of these if you want them. They cost me £49.22. I can get them out to you in the post tomorrow if you need them quick?

thanks for the offer Atik, i don't need them at the moment, the whole point of the measurement is to allow me to order some polly ones from USA, with my full suspension bushing kit.

"with the dust boot sat on a surface, it is 27mm high
inner diameter of the large open side is 39mm
inner diameter of the small open side is 12mm
outer diameter of the widest part is 49mm"

this information is perfect.

Thanks.

No, sorry mate. All I have are the four dust covers for the front lowers and the two for the front uppers. And three steering gaiters, lol

Dave, I've got a couple of new ones of these to go on my car eventually, so I can check this later on this evening. Might need a reminder though!

that would be great nev i will bump this up tonight.

also are thenew toe control arm as loose in the waggle about the chassis mount end bush as the old ones. as this did concern me about my car but every VR4 i have looked at since then have also waggled quite loosely as well.

Where was the bump, Dave?! :bump: :P

Anyway, had a look at the boot that's on the rear arm, and with only a tape measure to estimate the measurements, I got the ones shown in the pic.

It would seem to be the same size as the others, given the numbers that Atik posted up!

As for the other end of the arm - yes it moves freely. It think it is a ball joint of some description also.
