Unusually for me, have spent several hours recently giving the Evo some tlc.

Here's what's be done:

1: Snow foamed using Valet Pro PH neutral
2: Washed using Meguiar's Gold Class shampoo.......even using the 2 bucket method !
3: Wheels sealed with Poorboys wheel sealant
4: Poorboys Black Hole applied
5: Poorboys Nuttys wax applied

So, for that brief few hours when a black car remains clean, pics were taken:

It won't be happening !

Already replaced the standard suspension with the Bilstein setup from a MR, and perfectly happy with it both on road and track /yes

It's the new electricity power station near where I live.

Yeah, always the way mate but at least it'll be easier next time as you've put a lot into it today

Oh of course mate. Shaz held the wheels as I jetwashed them, she also did some of the wheel waxing and also helped remove a lot of the polish on the car. The 7 hrs was just the time I spent on it......probably 10hrs including Shaz.

And on that note...

Who's that dodgy bloke playing with your spray gun...?

It can't be you as would be wearing MLR apparel, surely...

Crossed over to the dark side, the evil empire, need to be wearing their kit...?

thats not a pressure washer.

i use one of THESE (http://www.rioned.nl/producten.php?mgr=2&menu=3&submenu=2&pageNum_rsProduct=9&totalRows_rsProduct=11) although it would explain where the lacquer from the roof of the golf has gone :uhoh2:

Pete - how do you find the poorboys black hole? does it make a noticable difference?

TBH mate, this is the first time I have used it. I did, however, see some good reviews before I bought it. It was certainly easy to apply, and removed some of the light swirl marks. It also seemed to bring the "fleck" out in my paint more......although that could be because she just needed a damn good clean after the winter.

Nothing bad to say about it mate, worth a go if you have a dark car /yes
