Looks good !

It's horrific. The Evo X barely BARELY manages to pull it off by having a blunt front-end and recessing this into it. The VR4 has a heavily contoured front that this doesn't follow. It doesn't work for me.

Steve is right. However, if it followed the existing lines better, it could be ok. For example, the angle of the vertical lines should match the inside vertical angle of the headlamps.

Agreed - I think the concept could work. This, however, doesn't.

And is it just me, or would it ever so slightly occlude some of the center head light beams?

Nah don't like that at all. There is however somewhere a red one on video which has a more subtle approach and does look very good. There's a link on here somewhere, I'll see if I can find it, unless someone knows it?

Yah. If we can get a router....few bits of MDF and some lime wallpaper, maybe we can make this work as a style statement. mmHmm.

A router + a few bits of mdf AND some electronics would give you a serviceable home CNC.. then you COULD make it.

the only cars to have evo kits are evos imo.you wouldnt buy an evo and put a galant bumper on it would you.legnums and the like look sweet as is with their own dedicated parts

Ill have the evo X bumper on my legnum within the next 5 weeks, matching up to the evo bonnet too only its going to have the foglights modified to fit standard leggy foggies as i didnt like the look of them upside down myself and the bumper will have a better fitment around the lights. Im personally thinkin bout just fettin some evo X foglights and using them instead of the standard ones already on the car, not sure yet but toms looks great in the flesh pics dont do it justice hence why im following in his foot steps :)

Oh and vr4wgn's design looks good too however i think the evo X bumper looks much better when mated with cibies!!!

Evo X Fail!!!

part of the galant/legnum appeal is its unique look. everyone is copying the EVO X blacked out centre bumper now. even the french are at it and they are bringing out some seriously ugly cars just now. it happened to lexus with their chrome tail lights and this has gone the same way. while the stock bumper may not be unique on this website, it is unique in the broader scale out there on the road and it is pretty damn perfect as it is. there is very little you can do to improve the looks at the front of these cars. these and the GTO are a tribute to miitsis designers. they are 2 of the best looking cars on the road

nice but not on a legnum think it will look silly but i might change me mind when i see the finished job as for the standard front bumpers i dont like them thats y i bought the one i have now cos its different and its the only one in my area like it its nice to stand out :)

Loving the concept of vr4wgn's drawing, cant wait to see it done...
Your right about the black centre section, did it to my v6.. For me it looked OK, but seriously on a legnum? Not Good!

uintil i saw the pics in this thread thread, this was something i was concidering (when i get my legnum) in all honesty it doesnt work, and i think it would be far better to try using a evo 9 or 8 front end instead.

not a fan. the bumper as linked by q on the ozvr4 thred it sticks out way to far.
q's drawing does look good but thats because its using what looks like evo x lights too the evo x front as it was from factory transplanted onto the legnum body, but ill beleive it when i see it
