Need help with value of engine?

Hiya all,

Sorry i did search but couldnt find anything that helped me.

Basically want to know how much to ask for our old (knackered) vr4 engine. It would be nice to get it out the way but dont know what kind of money ask for it.

Comes with turbos, engine sufferred bottom end failure. Any more info needed see previous thread (bang bang rattle).

didnt the head all block up with gungey oil? If it did and any got in the turbos etc its only gonna be worth about 50-100quid imo

£50 complete.. Especially as it has to be collected and transported.. Maybe selling it in bits and then cashing in as scrap would be the preferred method ?

Thanks for the replies. Alan yes you are correct its just i would like to put it up for sale so it can go and didnt know what kinda money to expect i was thinking around the 60-70quid mark myself but wanted to get some opinions on it too.

WODJNO i dont really wanna be messing about stripping bits id rather just get abit of cash for it if somebody is wanting it for not so much money. Thats if anybody would want it lol
