This is my dads car, he's owned it for 5 years now I think, previously bought from a club member who bought it from Calder Motor Company in Scotland, they were the initial importers. In my dads ownership it has been maintained to a very high standard with very few mark or blemishes to the paintwork. The drivers seats bolster is a little worn but is regularly treated with leather nourishment cream to keep it from getting worse.

It has all the standard VR-4 Type-S features with the beige leather interior, walnut wood effect dash and tiptronic transmission. It also has the moonroof.

Full cambelt service by Gowf (club member) including uprated lash adjusters, all fluids, plugs, filters etc 7000 miles ago with all Amsoil fluids. Amsoil oil & filter change less than 100 miles ago.

In my dads ownership the car has been fully undersealed by Nutter John (club member), had Evo Brembo brakes fitted front and rear with drilled and grooved discs and Ferodo DS2500 pads on the front, had a 2.5" cat back stainless steel exhaust purchased and fitted by Gowf (club member), had new rear dampers fitted and has a genuine Mitsubishi hard plastic load liner in the boot.

The alloys were recently (less than 500 miles ago) refurbished and are now a metallic anthractite colour with black pearlescent flecks. New Toyo tyres were fitted at the time.

Also, the car has a Double DIN DVD/MP3/CD/DAB radio fitted, it's less than a year old and cost £1000. the inclusion of this is to be neotiated separately to the car. The original stereo and compartment is available with the car though, along with a small amount of spares, standard brakes and a few others bits I believe.

Dad has use of his work van and another car and increasingly see's this car sitting on the drive doing nothing, hence his decision to sell.

Extra details to be added at a later date along with more recent photo's showing the wheels. Interior shots can be found here (http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=40107&highlight=PPC)

The double DIN stereo currently fitted in a JVC KW-AVX720. It's identical to this years model as shown here (http://jvcmobile.co.uk/product.php?pr=240) and has the extra DAB aerial fitted to the windscreen to allow digital radio reception and digital quality sound.

It's a 7" touchscreen unit with DVD/CD & MP3 playback, Ipod and TV ready aswell.

Sorry ORNS, I missed this yesterday i'll find out the model number and get back to you.

I can tell you that it is a DAB digital radio, with MP3, Ipod, DVD & CD playback, touchscreen, angled screen etc. There are also a Sat Nav, TV tuner and reverse parking camera add-ons which can be fitted IIRC. As shown above, it's the JVC KW-AVX720 as replaced by the current model KW-AVX730.

I've not had much work on today, so I popped around to dads to pick his car up and give it a clean and polish. The paintwork has been treated to a full Meguiar's shakedown with NXT wash, Scratch X, Deep Crystal stage 1, 2 and 3 cleaner, polish and wax. It's now free of almost all tar deposits and has a nice thick layer of Carnuba Wax to protect it from the elements.

Some photo's here, which unfortunately don't do the shine justice, the silver paintwork now has some lovely bluey purpley hues in it when you look closely in the sunlight.

Interior photo's, the leather seats and door cards also had Meguiars Gold Class Rich Leather spunk liberally applied to them, so it smells like cobblers workshop in the there now.

I should also note, i'm not about to start ringing people all over the shop trying to sell this car and nor is my old man, if you're interested then by all means fire me a PM and i'm happy to chat and then perhaps discuss things on the phone or arrange a viewing.

Thanks

Steve

Removed from sale, dads decided to keep the car as he can't find anything he'd like to replace it with.
