Brakes!

Just bought 97 VR4 PFL and brakes are truly shocking and im looking to upgrade discs and pads! Ive had a look through the searchs for these upgrades, Rossini, EBC, Rotor etc and noticed the links bring you to EVO V brake discs! before i go and decide on a set, just want to make sure that these are the same as the VR4?

Can anybody help with this and any good/ bad experiences?

evo 4 discs fit ONLY,

5s and newer are much bigger

Theres always the brembo conversion but as your car is PFL it could get costly

Some Evo 5s had the right discs. Evo 4s had the same pads and discs as a standard VR4. Some Evo 5s also had the same, but some had Brembos at that point. Asking for Evo 4 stuff removes the doubt about Brembo fitment.

Most EVO 5-9's have brembo's, hence the wrong sort. Some rally spec ones come with the smaller discs that EVO 4's and VR-4's have, so as Nick said, it is easiest to ask for EVO 4 discs all round.

Is there a good equivilant pad that doesn't kick up as much dust as the XP8's?
