Front Bumper Panel Trim

I recently made up a thin aluminium plate to fit where the front bumper trim was missing - but looking at a few pictures of other peoples VR4s around 50% are missing this trim. Why is this? Do some owners remove it to make it look more aggresive?

They get taken off and misplaced, they fall off due to crappy road conditions, they get caught on kerbs and pulled off etc.

Is this the tow eye cover you're talking about? You can get them colour coded from Mitsi for about £40. It's one of their best selling items.

In my case, it was knocked off....by the MOT company!
Who stated that it "Must have been really loose" which didn't explain the great big gouges on it's underside at all.

Unfortunately I failed to get any recompense from them.
Fortunately it's because the MOT place burned to the ground mere days later.
