well i hope someone can help, removed stereo unit this afternoon to check if the aerial was connected and put hand in behind to check it and the stereo cut out and also the gauge lights but displays gear and everything else and clock do not work... any ideas??

Ah my guess would be that there was a loose connection somewhere there in the power cable or ground cable and it has caused a short if it was knocked adn there will be a fuse blown there somewhere. So check the fusebox by your left foot and if they are all ok, check the one under the bonnet. If stilll no answers then im out of advice.....
