This is looking like it will be the UK's largest ever car insurance claim, *without* the vehicle being written off (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/north_east/8584878.stm)! :o

Got to feel sorry for the owner - his very expensive pride and joy being repaired and sent back after a test driver smacked it.

If it was my car I'd be grumpy!

£300,000 is small beer to an insurance company, though I agree it's a pretty epic payout JUST to repair a vehicle.

Chances are they have all kinds of other toys in thier garage though.

So for any of us it would be very painfull to take, but not sure how pwople who can afford £500,000 on one car would feel.

It depends on how much of strain it was on the purse strings and how much they love the car I guess.

I'm sure if I found myself in that position, I'd be upset. I'm not sure I'd want a repaired car back.

I have seen this car a few times in Aberdeen at the same location and so far there is nothing to imply another toy is being used but I will have to keep an eye out now

More likely to be a 4x4 to cope with the roads we have just now. It would be stuck in a local pothole
