Hey

Having some electrical problems.
Ive got no dashboard background light, no clock and no stereo.
Been looking at the fuses but they dont seem to be broken. Measured the stereo one in the cabin and its no giving my anything 0volts checked the ones in engine bay to cant find any thats broken :huh2:

Anyone got any ideas?

Checked at the stereo plug to not getting anything from B+ there.

Switched the stereo one in cabin and in engine bay for new ones and still nothing

Are there any connectors that can come loose?

Have you checked all fuses? Sometimes a seemingly unrelated fuse causes issues.

Ive looked at all of them but havent beeped em all maybe i should.

Well ive checked with a multimeter at the fuse connector and im not getting any volts should still get volts even if the fuse is blown aye? Atleast on one of the fuse legs.

Everything else works and starts fine.

I'm ure I had a similar problem a couple of years ago, and I'm sure it was a fuse I didn't think it would be.

I had the same problem in a past. It was a fuse in a cabin box blown. Not related, and only under very close look I've found faulty one.

dome light fuse?
Cabin light or? That works if so.

Well anyway today i changed all the fuses for brand new ones even beeped em all to make sure they were fine, it didnt change anything still no stereo, gauge backlight and no clock.
Only changed the mini ones.

Since these run in series they should have one connector somewhere maybe its gone loose, anyone know where it is?

Did you check/replace the fuses in the ENGINE bay? The one mentioned (dome light fuse) before has bugged me (my own fault though) a couple of times with exactly the same symptoms.

yup same here!!! engine bay fuse exact same issues.

Other than the fuse the wiring loom is at fault. I may know of one LOL

Made a small diagram if im correct.
The + battery goes straight to the engine fuse box? So if im not getting any volts from the fuse at this point there cant be a problem in the cabin? And there should be a problem between fuse box and battery.

Please correct me if im wrong just brainstorming to get a solution.

Hmpf three posts in a row :/

But anyway just wanted to say i figured out the problem.

Used a temporary fused cable from battery to engine fuse box, stereo fuse then everything worked :D

Pic of bad explanation.

ACC was the problem it didnt engage due to bent pin in the turbo timer harness.

Everything working now
