Welcome to CVR4. A manual Legnum VR4 in that budget will be very difficult to be honest. If you do find one, there will most likely be something wrong with it, so be wary. Good luck :)

This one has been for sale for months. It is high mileage but the price in our local paper is down to £1950.00. and I think they may take an offer to get it off the forecourt.
I did find out a while ago that it has a fairly good documented service history.

I'm thinking of selling mine, and it's minted, as anyone will testify. Don't want to but my bike shop is needing even more cash thrown at it.

I'm not stupid enough to sell this beast for that though. Add another grand and that'll be the bare minimum.

ive been in touch (email) with the present seller & he's said he'll take £1500 for it, what put's me off it is, it's had at least 3 owners in the past month. one of the last owners was the same guy i got my Golf VR6 from & he has told me he would have kept it as it is very clean & straight but the Leggy needed a few job's & once he priced part's he decided to move it on, he did have it advertised for £3750 then he swapped it for a Transit van

he said it need's: down pipe, rear wheel bearing, ABS sensor (one or more?) 1 drop link & the clutch is very slow to engage at speed, he was also advised to replace the brakes & T/belt as the car had lay off the road for 5yrs!

i was tempted to go see it but ive put far to much cash in to my VR6 to sell it just now & start over again the person selling it just now say's the T/belt has been done??

you could find one for that price but you'll be spending 1k upwards fixing things at least i reckon

TBH the parts that apparently need fixing on it would'nt be to hard to sourse or repair, just the clutch & T/belt are the real money bit's

ive been well warned by my wife to keep my eyes away from this VR4, but there would be no harm in maybe going for a wee look over it :leer: .. /secret even if to just add a few more details for other's ;)
