Louder is easy. Stainless exhaust. Job done. (Often, job done too well!)

Drive it gently for a few miles to allow the oil to warm up properly. Drive the last mile or so gently to allow the turbos to cool as much as they can before turning the engine off.

Hope you enjoy it!

Loud is easy- How loud(Legal) do you want?

As for warm up, just take it easy on the revs for 5-10 mins. Optionally grab a oil pressure/temp gauge.

Cool down - you can opt for a turbo timer, but thats personal preference. Unless you've been boosting it heaps(and I mean heaps) before stopping just turn it off, warm water and oil will still flow though the turbos for a wee while. Also it'd be unusual to turn the car off right after a decent thrashing, most times you'll tend to have a period of light driving before you get to where you're going.

Be sure to use 99RON petrol at all times, where possible.

I think the ECU will compensate for the lower octane fuel by enriching the air/fuel mix to avoid detonation.

Yes, but only once the ECU starts seeing worrying levels of knock. 95 can be used in an emergency, provided you keep off the loud pedal (IE Off boost).

The side effect of what DJB is saying is that as well as the increased levels of knock (bad news), the power level and MPG suffers too. Stick with super as a minimum.

If you are modifying the car, make sure you choose a modification friendly insurer!

Congratulations on your purchase.

Being a club member can often get you cheaper insurance (although you've probably already sorted this)

Regular oil changes required. I've read posts regarding problems with tickover after fitting fully vent to air dump valves so read up first! Think Elnevio did a write up on a hybrid recirc/vent dump valve iirc.

I've put a K&N panel filter as direct replacement for the OEM model - there's threads discussing whether pod filters provide any better performance... all to do with air flow/supply.
