Thats not a lip; It is simply "tak-on-flares". Nothing more then a hard rubber strip.

I would love to post more info and pictures but I can't access it until ozvr4 comes back online.

Dimi used a part designed to seal the bottom part of garage doors from a hardware shop

I did the same thing with 4WD wheel arch flare strip from Clark Rubber, but attached it differently.

it reminds me of the "budget class" cars with the cheap plastic bottom 2 tone bumpers lol.... or even better the notorious Fiat Punto!!!!!

IMO, the style and idea follows the JDM trend of a few years back...

On a black or other dark coloured car it won't look so bad, but on a lighter car it reminds me of something like this http://www.auto-types.com/photo-gallery-0/fiat-tipo-16-ie-5-doors-hatchback-5-speed-manual-16424.html

Where they couldn't be bothered to paint the door handles, bumper, and various other bits of trim pieces.

lol, brad, funny example !
my old man had plenty of fiats....
but i do see your point...:Mr-T:

im more referring to what "wiked" is talking about :)

i only figure that my wife is driving the car more then me...shes most likely to do the shopping centers more then me..hence speed humps and other steep ramps(driveways).. (as "VR4WGN" would call it) id rather the "budget class" spoiler be hit first !!, then take out the paint from the good spoiler...

Also stops the driveway grinding away the bumper, which is the reason why I fitted it.

And keeps the tow hook cover in place. I would probably be keen for one, just lost my cover to the road :furious3:
