hey...
can somebody tell me what kind of service needs to be done at the 5000km mark? i just got a 'b' service done which cost $217 and the chic at reception reckons i might not need to do that type of service for just the 5000km thing...
so yer can somebody help please..

is that all you have to do after 5000kms and not a whole big service with them checking everything over and ****??? is that saved for the 10,000km one??

Do you mean every 5000km, or is this jsut the first 5000km after being purchased new??

every 5000kms...i was reading on here that its best to get it serviced every 5000km but im tryin to find out what type of service is best for the 5000km and the 10,000km...if youre only supposed to get an oil change every 5000kms then i just wasted over 2 hundy bucks...:(

More details are available about correct servicng levels in the Member section, but in essence it is as follows from the RALLIART servicing sheet.

Every 5000km ( 3000 Miles) - Oil and Filter (regardless of servicing done)

Every 7000km ( 4500 Miles) - 'A' Service - AYC Changed here
(or 6 months)

Every 14000km ( 9000 Miles) - 'B' Service ('A' Service plus Mechanical checks)
(or 12 months)

Every 28000km (18000 Miles) - 'C' Service ('A' and 'B' Service plus Brake Fluids)
(or 24 months)

Every 72000km (45000 Miles) - 'D' Service ('A', 'B' and 'C' Service plus Auto Transmisson Fluids
(or 60 months)

NOTE: You MUST change your oil every 5000km with synthetic oil as it is used for cooling the Turbo as well somewhat.

You may be right on re: the "Suspension:, I believe it will be resolved this weekend though.

However it is still only NZ$15.00 for a year. I sent a 5 pound note.
