Looks real good - AND... Dare I say it... I like those wheels too. They're very similar to the original Ralliart 3 spokes that one could get for the Super VR-4 as an option. :)

VR4Kaos
04-04-2010, 11:20 PM
well kieran your more than welcome to em soon as i get em replaced lol besides i think everyone will know me by them lovley rim's like there's that tw@t with that super with them dodgy 3 spoke split rims
btw thanks for the complement !

car look's good mate .. think i'd rather keep the wheels and spend the cash on getting the kit colour coded?
also are the wheels ADVAN item's? if they are there are folk out there that pay decent money for them ;)

VR4Kaos
05-04-2010, 01:50 PM
What do ya mean by advan

VR4Kaos
05-04-2010, 01:53 PM
Was planning on getting it sprayed/colour coded but all supers have the black kit so it is original like that and may keep it that way

elnevio
05-04-2010, 01:55 PM
Advan is a big Japanese manufacturer. Their wheels are usually quite pricey!

As for the colour coding - I guess this is personal preference. I like the complete originality of the dark grey skirts, lips and dour mouldings. More so on the red Supers. Colour-coding looks better on the silver Supers, IMO. But originality also wins anyway - and you've pretty much got all the kit on yours. Not aware of anything missing?

VR4Kaos
05-04-2010, 02:02 PM
nah it's all complete and in perfect condition i nknow what you mean bout it been colour coded esp the hamilton silver seen a fello member has had his colour coded and it defently is on my unsure what i want list.
Not sure bout the wheels been advan but if any one has an interest in em holla at me

Looking nice, Karl. You could always cover the extras in carbon fibre wrap. Bling-Bling! :D

I'm not a fan of the wheels, either - Think some nice anthracite ones would do the job nicely.

if there geniune rays then they wont be cheap, there normally very light and very strong.

you at least need to line the spokes up dude, so they all point in the same direction at the same time :)

VR4Kaos
06-04-2010, 12:59 PM
ok Alan mate your wish is my command do it right now as your 100% right

Atik
06-04-2010, 01:34 PM
How on earth are you going to keep them lined up? Turn one corner, and they will change again! lol
All four wheels will only rotate at the same time in a straight line. The moment you start turning, the wheels make different rotations so they will change alignment

/lol

VR4Kaos
06-04-2010, 03:38 PM
your joking pmsl ive just been out and changed all my wheels round needed to any wanted to put the toyo's on the rears and them arrow ward on the front's but did take care when puting them all back on making sure the writing on the sope was equal and all the spokes was too arrggggg 1 - 0 Alan but my time will come hahahaha /haz

Argh, I feel bad for ruining the possible prank! Get Karl to line up the rims perfect, and come back from a short drive to find they have changed! Reset and they change again. /lol

oh so its like that take the piss outa Karl lol oj like it !! would of worked too Alan i thought with it been 4wd they would stay lined up hahaha
I also jacked up the full front end of my mazda 626 and swaped both front wheels over becouse they was wearing on the inner tread thought that it would even it out.
So really think that ya picking on me i may be thick but i can lift heavy things

Turbo_Steve
06-04-2010, 10:10 PM
TBH you CAN'T be thick - you've done stuff mechanically that prohibits thickness.
Perhaps you don't always think things through?

Whilst I may be supportive of your abilities, dude, your spelling is just amazing:

Authenticity!!!! :P

I reckon you'd shift those overseas no problems - they'll go like hot--cakes in Europe.

elnevio

Yep - get them on eBay.de, or even sell them back to the Japanese! Although I don't know how easy that would be.

elnevio

Just noticed they've got a really high offset very close to standard!

The car looks good. Now before I read the rest of the posts, I was thinking to myself, "don't normally like three spokers, but I somehow I like those and they suit the car".
ooops Sorry /pan

Pedro - no, just NO. Venoms belong on saxos and corsa's.

Karl - this really is a terrible terrible attempt, but E8's would look nice on yours http://img31.imageshack.us/img31/4594/009renamed7721.jpg

Now, I haven't tried paying for my weekly tescos shop in Euros, but I am pretty sure they will tell me to get stuffed. Likewise, I still believe my steering wheel to be on the correct side, and overtake on the right. Perhaps I should have said "European Market".

I agree, the car looks good as it is, keep the 3 spokes, leave the bodykit as it is and lower the car a bit. Get some wind deflectors and a smaller number plate an it'll look very Jap.

On the subject of TSW Venom's, I also think they look quite good on bigger cars. They got a bad reputation in the 90's for being on Nova's and Clio's but they're coming back I think, i've seen a few on some very nice cars recently and they definately suit bigger cars well.
