Frontal impact, so no bumper, front arches, bonnet etc. But the rest of the car is in mint condition.

You can either buy the whole thing for $2000, or ask for parts.

I'm keeping the following:

Tailgate and doors.

This is a low mileage car, only just ticked over 100,000km.

I've had a rethink of the price.. I want to get this moved as quickly as possible, so I'm asking for $1200 for the lot (minus doors, tail gate, and a few little bits and bobs). So that's essentially $1200 for a low km engine, good condition (and looked after) tip box, ayc diff, etc. Also, the car had nearly $1000 spent on the front suspension. All arms and bearings replaced with NEW parts.

If I can't sell it in one piece in a week or so, I'll be ripping all the good bits out, and the chassis will be picked up by the metal buyers.

These have only done around 1000km, so $100 for both? (Normally around $150 each).

Will do. At this stage I think the car is going to end up at Adam's flat to be dismantled. I still have to confirm this with him.

RXWPN
07-04-2010, 09:38 PM
Hmm, Get trailor on boat return $700, plus petrol there and back probably total about $900 probably not worth it dammit. How much are you wanting just for the engine if I was to take that off your hands?

scott.mohekey
08-04-2010, 12:10 AM
The engine has had its cambelt done about 1000km ago, and has only about 101,000km on the clock (I can find out exactly soon). So, how does $500 sound?

FINALLY heard back from the insurance company (I called them). Originally they told me they'd deliver the wreck to where I wanted it. But now I find out I have to pick it up myself with my non existent car.

I removed the engine from the car this afternoon, so who ever bought the engine it will be on its way soon.
do we have any takers for the rear diff so i know weather to remove that also.
entire engine and gearbox loom and computers came out of the car with the engine, loom is still connected to the motor.
full set of intercooler piping is there is well minus the intercooler itself as it is damaged.
full standard exhaust system
standard strut brace

and while i am at it i know a guy selling a genuine greddy front strut brace for 200 bucks, maby some of the viento/gdi boys on here could want that or someone with a vr4 looking for a bit of a visual upgrade. sorry no pics.

scott.mohekey
18-04-2010, 11:14 AM
Thanks for that Adam. I believe we still have to remove the gearbox from the engine, but should be able to get that sorted tomorrow.
