Just wondering what mileage everyone changes there cambelt at?

Mines now:

68 000 kilometres = 42 253 miles

Would like some advice please , do I need to start worrying now or do I have another year left to then start thinking about it?

saving for a family holiday atm and would like not to spend out on the car yet and have a decent holiday ....but its playing on my mind.

Is now the time or not?.........

The official UK Ralliart schedule is every 45,000 miles.

In NZ it seems that a lot of people go by 100,000km which is just over 60,000 miles.

The only other consideration is that the belt is 13 years old.

If in doubt, rip it out.

Given that you're looking at the best part of £1500 to replace the engine, why WOULDN'T you change the cambelt?

I do want to change it, but its just when. would like to have a good holiday first, so just wondering when it needs doing.

I'd just get id done, did mine as soon as i got the car cos i didn't know when it had been changed.
Then after a year of having the car i had the tappets done so as it had to come off i didn't want it going back on so changed it again!
Its not worth the trouble of it going and f-ing everything up.

Did mine at 62,000 miles/11 years old. There was some slight evidence of cracking on the back of the old belt, but nothing alarming.
