i had to have a headlight replaced a few weeks ago. unfortunately the new headlight was set at the top of the level adjuster while my car was set at the lowest setting (i set them right down for urban night driving) which has left me with headlights that are not aligned. i have tried pulling the grey plug from the new headlight and raising the other one but as soon as i put the plug back in the motor kicks in and raises the other one. how do i level the new headlight motor to match the other one?

Hi,

You might need to do a combination of unplugging one or the other whilst twizzling the adjuster knob, so that you'll eventually end up with both either fully up, or fully down.

So, for example, unplug drivers' side, set your passenger one fully up. Unplug passenger one, twist adjuster to fully down, plug in driver's side, move to up, then hopefully that'll set them both to the "up" position. Now, hopefully, both should move together! :)
