after spending the best £20 i a while and joining club vr4i read the guide on changing atf. now the sun is shining and im about to attempt a full atf flush and change! got 12 litres of mitsi diamond sp iii

what is the best way to check auto fluid? hot/cold engine running/engine off?

You need the engine running at certain intervals to pump the fluid out, as your filling it back up.

sorry i mean once it has been done how do u check the level?

ahh well theres a warm and a cold level....cold level is irelevantish, you want to make sure its at the correct level when hot :) to much will cuse lumpy gear changes!
