as title suggests she passed her 3rd uk mot today,couple of advisory's.....1.nearside front disc slightly pitted and 2. nearside inner c/v gaitor split.....are these cv gaitor's a possible diy job?.....i've used one of those kits many years ago...you know the ones you glue together after filling with grease,or would you recomend stripping d/shaft to get an original gaitor from stealership?............

For the inner CV gaitor, I would highly recommend getting a genuine Mitsi one. It's actually quite an easy job as you don't even have to remove the driveshaft from the gearbox, just split it. I would not go near the glue together jobbies.
