300 years to fix the roads in Aberdeen

In our local paper last night there was a story about the state of the roads in Aberdeen.

The city council Have said that under spending for the last twenty years & the last two winters have left the roads " at or beyond the end of their useful life".

This has to be a joke. I mean 300 years to fix the raods thats a disgrace.

What about all the bigger citys in the country? How long will they take to sort the roads?

the roads up here are fcuking shocking just now, especially the main ones. the reason they're saying its going to take 300 years to sort them is coz they're simply NOT FIXING THEM!! grrr
ive certainly not seen anyone attempting to in the last 2 months or so...lazy bar-stewards :(

I'll never understand how theres money for tar to put in traffic calming bumps, but not for fixing the holes?????
